Is It Possible to Connect Oscilloscope With Microphone

Some of you might asking who you can connect oscilloscope with a microphone. You might want to know if an oscilloscope has any input or jack so you can plug in Microphone plug and connect them together. The answer might not the one you want to know, which is a no. It is because most oscillcope is not created to have any specific jack or input for you to use it with microphone. However this might be possible after you connect the two leads from the microphone to the scope's vertical input. You might need to set the oscilloscope's sensitivity level to very high as output of a microphone is too low, plus you might not see or barely see presentation on the screen of your oscilloscope. Another suggestion is to connect the microphone through the preamp then connect the vertical input of oscilloscope to the preamp's output. Remember that most oscilloscope's sensitivity is 10 mV per division. However microphone put less than the rate thus you might require to use x10 or x100 amplifier.
