Rohde & Schwarz introduced their oscilloscope range which made for high performance as well as midrange segment. The R&S®RTO scopemeter is world's first realtime digital trigger system and offers high acquisition rate as well as excellent signal fidelity. Among the features of Rohde & Schwarz's R&S®RTO are new ease of operation, Hardware-accelerated analysis, convincing accuracy, find signal faults fast and highly accurate digital trigger system. Available bandwidth are 1 to 2 GB with 2 to 4 channels.

This is a very competitive market, with Tektronix having the lions share, followed by Agilent, then LeCroy. R&S has a name in RF test equipment, but no credibility in Oscilloscopes. Will be interesting to see how this new product line does.
